This icon was made for a Dribbble challenge themed around “old internet energy.” I wanted the Tumblr “t” to stay readable as an app icon, while building a colorful, chaotic world around it. The character design was based on a pyramid-headed figure, inspired by an old triangular Tumblr icon that used to show up in the community. The whole visual direction came out of that mix of early web aesthetics, heavy colors, and a bit of nostalgic messiness.
